Can't create a TOC on Pages on mac

I tried to create a TOC on Pages on my macbook air (it might be important to say that I work in Hebrew). I followed the instructions here, including applying paragraph styles to my headings, but all I get is this annoying box saying "Generating table of contents", as you can see in the screenshot. I'm sure there's a very simple answer - appreciate your help!
